Robert Leclair, through the Leclair Group Investments, has been an astute investor in real estate for more than thirty years. He started his career as a realtor and REMAX franchise owner in Québec and built on this foundation to initiate and lead numerous multi-residential property acquisition, development and management business activities in Canada and now the US for both his own companies and on behalf of private and institutional investors.

Robert was in the forefront of commercial condominium development in the 1980’s in Québec and built more than 1500 multi-residential properties with a mix of semi-detached, row houses and condominiums.

In addition to leading his own real estate ventures and businesses Robert Leclair has served in an advisory capacity to potential investors, lenders and insurers who value his sound business judgement and professional ethics.

In 2010, Robert determined that the real estate market in Florida presented significant opportunities so he expanded into the United States with the acquisition of multi-residential properties in Jacksonville and Orlando and the construction of new buildings in Jacksonville.

Vincent Gauthier

Vincent Gauthier has more than twenty-five years of experience in internal, external and forensic audits of private and public sector organizations. He has directed international audits for Ernst & Young and the Office of the Auditor General of Canada.

Vincent began investing in real estate in partnership with Mr. Leclair in 1995 and decided to retire from the auditing profession to join the Leclair Group Investments full time in 2003.

Vincent Gauthier oversees all financial aspects of the Canadian and US operations including planning, accounting and reporting. He is also responsible for information technology matters and human resources.

Vincent’s knowledge and skills in professional accounting, financial/business analysis, taxation and management have been key to the group’s expansion over the years and underpin strategic and operational decisions on financial and business management controls and practices, information systems and sound governance.

Vincent is fluent in French and English, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Melanie Leclair

In 2005, Melanie Leclair came into the family firm as an office manager for planning and delivery of administrative services to Leclair Group Investments in Canada. Since then she has become a senior real estate executive in the life-cycle management of real property assets including the acquisition, management and disposal of multi-residential properties with a portfolio of over $300 M.

Melanie main responsibilities are to: advise on multi-residential investment strategies and plans in support of long and short-term company goals and objectives, lead the development and implementation of marketing and operational plans and activities by multiple property managers across the region, and develop policies and procedures on asset management to maximize the efficiency and profitability of multi-residential property investments in Eastern Canada. In addition, Melanie leads consultants and staff in the research, analysis and recommendation of multi-residential investment opportunities, and proposes and oversees plans and activities to dispose of real property assets and directs contracting activities across the region ensuring transparency and value for money.

In 2014, Melanie undertook a learning assignment in Leclair Group Investments’s US operations to expand her knowledge of property management and has studied industrial relations and administration at the University of Quebec.

Lisa Daoust

Lise Daoust has worked with Leclair Group Investments as a finance consultant since 2012. Lise has more than 25 years of international experience in senior positions with large multinational companies such as Schlumberger Ltd and General Electric including serving as a controller and finance director in their regional and foreign operations located in Canada, France and the USA. Lise is also a business development consultant to small and medium sized enterprises.

Lise, as a consultant, provides coaching, support and the sharing of expertise and best practices with Leclair Group Investments’s staff on finance and accounting matters.

Lise is fluent in French and English and has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) degree from the University of Québec at Montreal.

Denis Daoust

Denis Daoust is an independent real estate consultant with more than 30 years of extensive international experience in commercial and multi-residential property investment and management. Denis has worked with Leclair Group Investments USA since its inception in 2010 and with Leclair Group Investments Canada since 1990. Denis’s professional property acquisition advice and services are highly regarded by individual, corporate and institutional investors.

Denis’s consulting role with Leclair Group Investments US is focused on new multi-residential acquisitions and includes identifying, evaluating and recommending potential investments, advising on and preparing offers and conducting due diligence activities. Denis also provides management services to assist in the transfer of ownership.

Denis is fluent in French and English, has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) degree from the University of Québec at Montreal and is a Licensed Community Association Manager, Florida.

Titania Johnson

Titania Johnson joined Leclair Group Investments in November 2012 as the bookkeeper for the company’s US operations. Titania has more than twelve years of bookkeeping and customer service experience with large and medium sized businesses.

Titania is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. In addition to her bookkeeping activities, Titania uses her extensive customer service skills to develop and maintain positive relations with vendors & suppliers. She also manages the third party delivery of payroll services for US operations.

Titania has a Bachelor of Business degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accountancy both from the University of Phoenix. Titania is also a licensed Tax Professional and a Notary Public in the State of Florida.

Alexia Jimenez

Alexia Jimenez has been with Leclair Group Investments since 2014 and has both a finance and property management background. Alexia started as a leasing consultant with The Morgan Group in 2008, was promoted to Assistant Property Manager in 2009 and then a Property Manager in 2012.

Alexia brings solid practical experience and strong interpersonal skills to managing The Majestic at Downtown Baldwin Park, one of our class “A” properties located in one of Orlando’s most desirable neighborhoods. Her responsibilities include communications, customer relations, health and safety, staffing, project management, maintenance, leasing and budgeting.

Alexia obtained her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation in 2013 from The National Apartment Association Education Institute, and is also a Licensed Community Association Manager, Florida.

Robert Esposito

Robert Esposito has been with the Leclair Group Investments since July 2016. Originally from Philadelphia he has spent the last 15 years calling Florida home. Rob has been in management for 15 years was and was a district manager for a retail store which helped him gained extensive problem-solving knowledge, multi-tasking and a knack for communicating with people. His responsibilities include but are not limited to, implementing effective staff communication, Customer relations, Maintenance, Leasing and budget, and tough safety policy.

Before taking the position of Property Manager with Leclair Group he started out as a part-time leasing agent, but the company quickly knew that his experience and people skills was better suited as Assistant property Manager and was prompted. Rob Attended Franklin and Marshall University for Business.

Melanie Gerard

Mélanie Gerard has been with Leclair Group Investments’s Canadian operations since 2018 and has more than 15 years of experience in general management as well as in managing multi-residential properties. Mélanie has a well-earned reputation for excellence in client relations and property administration that result in well run, desirable residential communities.

Mélanie’s strong operational management abilities and interpersonal skills combined with her personal commitment are essential to her role as property manager of Joie de Vivre. She is responsible for communications, client relations, health and safety, staffing, project management, grounds and building maintenance, leasing and budgeting.

Jesse Gravel

Jesse joined Leclair Group Investments’s Canadian operations in 2005 and has more than 25 years of experience in the delivery of facilities maintenance services for multi-residential properties ranging in size from 150 to 800 units. Jesse is known for his dedication to the delivery of superior property and tenant services.

Jesse’s expert technical knowledge and skills ensure the highest standards are met for the maintenance of the Canadian properties. Jesse is responsible for building operations planning and for overseeing and supervising the building and grounds maintenance activities for assigned properties including tenant services, contract negotiation and management, budgets and emergency preparedness.
